IT Manager
(Selangor - Shah Alam)

Responsibilities:

Drive and lead IT System implementation projects to delivery within budget, on time and stable system.
Able to organize and chair meeting with senior project committee members by delivering clear and precise project statuses.
Effective communication in oral and writing with excellent presentation skill.
Capable of leading a system support team to ensure production systems is always available.
Have ownership sense of issues and escalate according to severity level.
Lead a technical team to support and maintenance the production systems within SLA.
All document works to comply company PMI standard to meet audit requirement. To plan the deployment strategy and support schedule on weekend and public holiday.

Requirements:

Minimal 7 years relevant experience in IT project management and 5 years in managerial role.
Bachelor's Degree in IT related courses and/or have relevant experience in Information Technology service delivery.
Resourceful, assertive, independent and able to offer solutions.
Hands on experience in business applications support.
Candidate must have solid working experience in Warehouse & logistic industry and Retail domain.
Knowledge in SAP IS Retail ECC6.0 or other world class merchandizing package value added.nn
Be prepared to work in a high-pressure environment and be fully responsible for communicating with users on the status update.
Preferably have exposures in GST implementation project.
Able to work/standby after office hours.

Giant is under Dairy Farm International. The project is under DFI SAP implementation, they implement for cold storage, guardian & giant in msia, sg, brunei, indonesia, vietnam. After all the subsidiary got their own SAP system, they start to employ and form their own internal SAP team. No it's not that new for them. sudah 3 yrs liao since they started SAP. Good place to learn IS-Retail suite.

Anyway, environment wise, it's quite nice, office looks ok and the people there are ok too.
Benefit wise, it's more or less like other companies but if you expect MNC equivalent benefits, then no. It will be slightly better than chinaman company.
Again, salary wise, they may not be able to offer MNC standard salary but will be better than chinaman.
Working hours are normal 9-6pm, mon-fri, free parking at their stadium office (shah alam, sek 13).

I went for interview. Yes the environment looks ok. They have 60+ IT peoples support all nationwide include Brunei.
For me if they offer based on standard SAP market, I will grab... thanks all for comment.
The job scope is technical as ABAP programmer. Will doing support and implementation projects too.
